in light of recent events at the sat. field ,and seeing as i despise it when grown men whine,I would like to make an offer to all my baseball brothers. I am willing to make a donation of 10 yards of screened topsoil for the start of the outfield recovery project which this field so desperately needs. if the fellas who make these decisions would like to proceed with this, give me a call at 573-4084,or on this thread i guess.
Very generous of you Pete. I'm hoping we will do some major work to the OF in the fall. The discussion is not "if'', but "when.'' I hope John and we on the Board, which includes you, of course, take you up on the offer. Much gratitude, Pete. JimK
Thanks john......andd fellas, this is how the ball gets rolling.now we need another step to be taken, and that is to get dugouts built. I did some figuring and we are looking at about fifteen to seventeen hundred to put up two dugouts.maybe less if we get some breaks on prices.these dugouts would be half concrete block with pressure treated sides and roofs.guys, this is easy to get done.less than 500.00 gets us all the block and parts we need.another300.00-400.00 gets us the wood and roofing for one dugout plus.I am asking for the fellas who want to make some positive moves here t put a little money where your mouths are and let's make this happen. Don't see why there can't be dugouts by playoff time. If we don't take care of ourselves.who is gonna do it

I assume we need to make sure the school is ok with us building permanent structures also!
It isn't that i am not willing to look into it but John Reel and Ed Deigel have been dealing with the school and i am sure that it would be better for them to continue to be the go betweens.
I wil email John
