Rays shutout Highlanders

Rays shutout a improved Highlanders team 7-0 tonight at Cook Park. Score was 2-0 after 5 before the Rays tacked on some runs late! Jeff Friedman hurled 6 innings of shutout ball and Matt Egnor had 3 hits and 3 rbi's. Kudos to Mark Marshall who is building a nice squad for the Highlanders! Great game guys!

Thanks Mario, they are a GREAT bunch of guys too as we had lots fun in the dugout even though you beat us. And listen, you guys are definitely contenders and a great bunch of guys too... Hats off to Jeff as he not only pitched a beautiful game, but he is a classy, fun guy and if we had to get shutout by anyone, it might as well have been him! Great performance...
