I just learned tonight of the health issues that two of my favorite CDMSBL players have confronted recently. Scott and Andy, if you are following this blog please know that you are in my thoughts as you continue your path to recovery. You are both fierce competitors on the field and I have no doubt that you are facing your current fate with the same desire to win.
Hey Todd! I first want to say thank you on behalf of Scott and I. Your words moved us both. Yes ironically, we both had kidneys removed, but are lucky and blessed. I was diagnosed with Renal cell carcinoma(cancer) on 2/5/12. It was found incidentally during a follow up on my gall bladder surgery. I am the luckiest guy in the world for many reasons, but this is a big reason! I had 4 years to live, but luckily caught it in time and will now live a long happy life. I have landed with a great bunch of guys in the 35s ( Dodgers ), and am fully recovered. Thank you again.....and may God bless us all! Enjoy the game for what it is.....a great game!!!
