On a beautiful night for baseball the Americans and Yankees opened their 55 division season. The Americans came out on top in a long game. Leading the way for the Americans were Nick Kanellis with 3 hits, followed by Dave DeMaria, Rob Rugen, and Matt Leinung with 2 hits each. Brett Conlin earned the pitching victory. Always a pleasure playing the Yankees they are a classy group of guys.
