Bill Kervan and Brad Buchan, with the American National Wildcats, secured their second win on Monday against Wilmington, NC at the Red Sox JetBlue complex. Kervan started, pitched four innings, giving up two runs and was 1/1 at the plate with a single. Buchan went 1/1 with a single with the Wildcats winning 16-4. Kervan and Buchans Wildcats beat the Boston Braves on Tuesday by a score of 14-3 at the former Red Sox Players Development Complex getting the game in just before the skies opened up in a typical Florida deluge. Buchan started the game going five solid innings without giving up a run and going 1/1 at the plate. Kervan, playing some right field, went 1/1 at the plate with a single in the Wildcats win.
Wayne Newcombs DHBA Athletics beat the Kenmore Eastern Brewers in the Twins Stadium, 20-7, on Monday with Wayne playing shortstop and going 2/4 at the plate. Waynes Athletics were rained out on Tuesday afternoon in the Florida deluge that lasted for a good part of the afternoon
For Wednesday, Buchan and Kervans Wildcats are slated to play the Toledo Mud Dogs in the City of Palms Park at 10am and Newcombs As will line up against the Rangers in a 10am rain make-up and the ES3 Stoneage at 1:45pm at the Twins practice complex.
