Bill Kervan and Brad Buchan, playing for the 65 American National Wildcats, won their first game Sunday at 10am in the Minnesota Twins Stadium against the Georgia Classics. It was Wildcats over Georgia 19-1. Kervan had two doubles, going 2/2 and played some 1st base. Buchan singled and lined-out going 1/2 while playing left field. The Wildcats go again Monday morning at the new Red Sox JetBlue complex (Fenway South) at 10am against Wilmington, NC.
Wayne Newcomb, with the 55 DHBA Athletics, played against the Gulf Coast Thunder Sunday at 2pm on the Minnesota Twins practice field #5. Wayne played well at shortstop and hit well going 3/5 with three stolen bases in a 17-6 win for the As. Waynes Athletics go Monday against the Kenmore Eastern Brewers in the Twins Stadium at 2pm.
