anyway now that the 45's are almost done and with the idea that the giants and marlins players are pretty happy and staying put i figure it is time to throw this on the board
the Dodgers had a great season in 2012 after a horrible 2011 ... we went from 10th place with a 3-13 record to 3rd place with an 11-5 record and we are looking to improve again this off season
we have a spot or two open .... we are looking for either a lights out big game pitcher or a legitimate slugger
we have a great group of guys and all get along well
Yeah, Good Luck is right! I mean, aren't we ALL looking for that???
Though I did hear something about a guy named Roger down in Texas looking to make a comeback and he's 50, so I guess they are out there somewhere, ey??? Do you think he reads our BB???
Hey Q ~ don't funnel them all John's way, the Yanks are looking for a few studs too!!! Hell, we'd probably even settle for someone who can run and catch a fly ball at the same time... God forbid they can actually hit and run to first base w/out having a near heart attack ~ that's be nice too... Please give them my contact info and I'll work something out to meet them at Ropes to take a look...

mark - i'll take a look at everyone and if i don't want them send em your way
Q, et al In the interest of fairness, balance and hopefully even more parity, you should send all new potential players to me for posting in the free-agent listings so everyone has the same opportunity to contact them.
If you recruit on your own, so be it. As you can now see, several managers/GMs saw the posting and are now asking for the same considerations, which all deserve. Going through the free-agent listings will give everyone a fair shot on contacting said new players.
GMs just have to be diligent in keeping an eye on the listings.
