the day after tomorrow we will hold our annual regional tournament. our 19th such event. we'll host competition in three divisions for many out of town players. As always lets help these guys and their families and fans enjoy the experience. good sportsmanship is the best thing you can do.
We are also using some fields for the first time and hope to use these same facilities in the future. use care at all facilities not just on the field of play. pick up your trash and really any you see laying around.
At Kelts field in Waterford we have few specific rules beyond respecting the complex. Don't sit on the dugouts. Don't smoke or drink alcoholic beverages on the grounds. I would ask that every player control their tempers and not curse or argue calls . let your manager do that. Jim K. will be on hand all weekend there and will address the teams at the plate to reinforce these and any other specifics. I won't hear of any breaches to these edicts.
Kelts is a beautiful place and making a good first impression will help us with next year's field needs.
