Black Sox Win 2012 CDMABL Championship!! The Black Sox and Brewers put it all on the line in game 5 of the CDMABL Championship. The Black Sox were loose and came out out ready to roll. Dave Preston shut down the Brewers offense and the Sox rallied for 5 runs to take home the final game of the year.
After the game, Dave Preston was presented with the Playoff MVP award for his contributions on the mound and at the plate.
Head Coach Phil Weinman was presented the trophy after the game. It was the Franchises first ever MSBL Title (from the 18+ web site)

as a 65+ geezer in the league, having been with it since '98, when it was just an over-30 league of about 8 teams, i was really pleased to read john's account of the 18+ championship game and of brendan's role in keeping everything rolling.
you 18+ fellows, the guys who follow you, and obviously the players in the 25+, 35+, 45+ and 55+ divisions are the future of cdmsbl. so from across the generations, i say, bravo! to all the 18+ teams, keep playing and bring more guys into the league. your play, your attitudes and your own recruiting make you ambassadors for the league's future.
