our hearts go out to the rays catcher

During our game last night with the rays , the rays catcher Jan was taken to the hospital after a collision at home plate. The game really doesnt matter at this point, we are all very concerned about the health and well being of Jan. The yankee team as a whole has him in our prayers as well as i am sure the rays do as well. Mario please keep us all updated on any developments thanks

Who rolled him at the plate?
I thought that we were supposed to slide and/or try avoid contact in those situations???

He wasn't trying to blow him up, he just didn't slide and lost his balance. Jan's my brother so I think I can say this without an issue. People still need to slide if there's a play and this is why.
