The game started with the Cards taking an early 2-0 lead to the 4th inning. The Whiz Kids came back with 4 runs in the 5th. to take the lead thru the 7th. In the bottom of the 7th. with runners on 1st and 3rd, Jim Latorre hit a shot to right field scoring the the runner from 3rd which tied the game and Rick Loffredo running all the way scored from 1st on the relay from right field to end the game 5-4.Chris Abrams went the distance for the Whiz and Al Freer and John latorre went for the Cards. Thanks Jim Porter and company for a great night of baseball. What a night, what a game. Play-offs are going to be fun.
