Game turned out to be a pitching duel between Yankees Darnell Baker and the Red's AC Cleary. Both Pitchers kept opposing teams hitters off balance. Baker gained a 1 -0 lead with an unearned run in the top of 1. Reds answer back with 2 runs of their own, with the assist of an error as well. Reds led 2-1 till top of 5th where yankees scrape to tie the game. All looked like the game was going to end in another tie but in the top of the 8th Yankees catcher Tom Bradley drew a walk and moved to 2nd on an throwing error on reds catcher trying to pick him off at 1st base Bradley moved to scoring position and thats all the yanks needed Lex herrlett hit a line drive single to left field scoring the go ahead run. Baker closed out the 8th for a complete game. Reds are very competitive and will battle to the end. Good luck the rest of the way.
