The Nolan Propane Cardinals have won their last two games to bring their record to 5-3. Last week behind the pitching of Earl Mitchell they took down a tough Americans team 7-4.
Last night Al Freer shut down the Grey Cougars for three innings after not pitching for almost one year.{not a bad come back Al} Rick Loffredo did a great job to close out the game for the Cardinal win.15-3 Dave Plew and Harold Jenkins both went 3-3 for the Cards, Skip Lyons , Jerry Hawkins and Paul Watson added 2 hits each . The bats were in full swing last night. Hats off to a very gutsy Cougar team for giving their all last night.
