35 Rays defeat A's 7-6 in 6 inning game at Central Babe Ruth on 5/18. A's scored 4 runs in the first to put Rays in a early hole. Freddy Mcintosh battled control problems and settled in with scoreless innings in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th innings to keep the game close. Rays scored 5 runs in the 5th and 6th innings on clutch hits by Dabney, Jan Friedman, Dan Maguire, Rich Cooney and the eventual game winning hit by Ed Powell. Cooney came in holding a 7-6 lead and after giving up a lead off double was able to get the next 3 guys to fly out to cf. Game was called after that. Tough win but good win to come back from early deficit!
