It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon at VHS field. The sun was shinning, hardly any clouds, just a perfect day to play ball. The Nolan Propane Cardinals beat the gutsy,never say die Gray Cougars in 5 innings. Earl Mitchell pitched a 2 hit game for the Cards for the win. Jim Latorre came in for the final three outs. All of the Cardinal batters were in on the scoring .
The Gray's sent Jose George out to pitch his first ever live game. My hat is off to you Jose. {nice job}Bob lipkin scored two runs for the Cougars.
