This is how this year's banquet is working. Approximately 125 people have contacted me to say that they will be at the banquet. As of the payment "deadline" 77 people had paid. The rest are calling and texting and e-mailing me to assure me that they will be there. I feel like a social media freak! And if I knew how to facebook or tweet i'd really feel like a modern guy.
But its all working out and I'm really happy to hear from guys who I hoped would be at the banquet. So don't be nervous about contacting me at the last minute with your plans to attend. I'll bet you will not be the last person to call. In fact I may announce the Procrastinator of the Year award winner from the podium.

You can't go to a wedding, giving a $30 gift, and come away with a full belly of a dinner and suds. Well, not unless it is your cousin who is missing a chromosome will they not label you. $30 gets you and your date a great meal and plenty of barley. Don't have a date? Well then it's $15.
If you can't find the kegs tomorrow, look for the 6'2" guy with the mustache, though he probably won't have an 11 on his back.
