Looks likethey need help on 12/23 ..... Jim K is hoping to meet with some of the city of Albany officials in an effort to secure additional fields for us to play and our league volunteering to staff a city event would be helpful.
Looks like this may not work out .... which is a shame because it would have looked good as we approached the city to talk about field access.
I would say we need between 8 and 10 of us ....... if anyone else is willing please post otherwise i will get back to them within the next couple of days and let them know we can't get a crew together.

Please get volunteers to help in this worthy cause. We can help put a lot of smiles on people's faces just two days before Christmas. Send emails to your players because not everyone reads the Web site.
Yeah, I know there's family/work/shopping ... etc. All of us go thru it, but still some of us give back, which is the essence of the holiday season anyway, right?
Hey, Ralph Marrera posted before his passing that he would be there along with some staff. Dodgers players, perhaps a way to also remember the good Ralph represented! 35 players? 18s, 25s? These kinds of things are what bring our players together and closer. Makes CDMSBL stronger.
I'm betting on the compassion you all have for others that we can get at least 10 out of some 500 ball players there.

I wish ........ if I was it would be 30 degrees colder right now and the temperature would NOT rise above 32 degrees until late March...... WE NEED ICE!
