Capital District Braves split their opening day DH today in sunny Florida...losing game 1 in 10 innings to the Delco Blue Rocks and then winning game 2 against the Fort Worth Phillies with a three-run ninth inning to erase a two-run deficit for a huge win. Game 3 tomorrow against the South Side Rays at 4:00.
The Capital District Braves lost 14-4 to the South Side Rays. However, if the Braves win both remaining games they will still be in the playoffs. If they go 1-1 in the remaining games, then they will need the Delco Blue Rocks to beat the Fort Worth Phillies on Day 4. They hold the tie breaker over the Phillies based on their win over them in game two and would advance to the playoffs. Still lots of hope for our Braves.
Artie's Albany Yankees are 0-3 and are up against it!
