BROOKLYN DODGERS 2011 CHAMPS

I want to congradulate the Dodgers for winning the 2011 35 Division Championship.
Mick Novak and I have been thinking about this for two years now and it is now a reality.
This team was put together by Mick and myself of players who have played together at some point and time, like College, CDMSBL, High School and yes Little league, they were all friends and some are relatives. They were happy playing together, thats what it was all about for our team. I am proud to be part of a team that played as a team, and won as a team. Any Manager or Coach would be proud to have all of these player play for them.
I also want to say that The Cubs came to play last night and it was a pitchers duel against JJ Pearsall and Massroni, Cubs played hard, but we came out on top. The Cubs are a great bunch of Guys and very professional and I know They will be back in 2012 with a vengence to try and get the trophy back. I want to thank Mike Girad for some baseball advise I asked him during the off season, and Jim Maquade and the whole Cubs team that have been together as a team for ever, and I am hoping that the Dodgers of 2011 can follow in the same footsteps.
I want to Thank Scott Bonnano our Coach whom without him things would have been tough for me as a manager, Scott was also able to get us our sponsor North East Jewelers, who gave us our Home and away uniforms. So A BIG THANKS TO NORTH EAST JEWELERS..
BIG THANKS TO MY PARTNER IN CRIME AND FRIEND MICK NOVACK..

Congrats to Ralph, Mickey and the whole Dodgers team on claiming the crown. Very solid squad. They had to go through the best to be the best and they proved that. As for being on the losing end, I always hated that crap your mother would say that " It's not whether you win or lose it's how you play the game" B.S. !!! Losing sucks! How you play the game will determine whether you win or lose. Personally, I hope you keep your squad together. The bar has been set again like the Hummers, Marlins and Cubs before you and it's time for other teams to step up as best they can to compete. My better days may behind me but I still look forward to the challenge of facing Jim Shook, JJ or any other of the better pitchers in this division. I think most players feel the same way

Great job guys. Well deserved

Ralph,

Congratulations to you for putting a great team together that ultimately gave you a championship. You have a great bunch of guys on that team and you beat a great bunch of guys who know how to win. Great Job!

Thank you Randy, I am glad your one of the few who appreciates good baseball, and as for losing, a few years ago our team( name WhiteSox at the time) was 1-19 in reality 0-20 the win came as a forefit. and I remember every team that would run up the score on our team, even when they did not have too, how easy some of the players and managers forget, not speaking about your team, but other's. So they had their fun winning, while we lost every game, it did suck!! instead of folding due to guys leaving with the exception of a few players, Mick Novak came on and and some very good players, and from there we build what we have now. No matter what is said by others about our team, I am very proud of them. To beat the Cubs is and never will be an easy feat. As I said I am hoping that our team can follow in your teams footsteps.( meaning them playing together for a long time.)
Randy we will see you next year in the playoffs and hope in the final's. I am sure you guys will be looking to get the title back,
Thanks again.
