For having only one game in 6 weeks, the 55 Cubs looked quite crusty in the 1st inning against the aggressive hitting Twins but pulled it together after the shaky 1st inning where the potent Twins lineup quickly scored 3 runs on 5 hits and 2 walks. Chris Dunn settled in after that and held the Twins to just 4 hits the rest of the way earning him Cubs player of the game!

- Carlos Espada - double, walk, run scored / HUGE defensive play - threw out Jeff Whitehead at home on attempted double steal.

- Chris Dunn - complete game win, 6 K's,/ on offense - 2 hits (one being RBI double that scored 7th run), run scored
