Watervliet.5 pm start. Fine weather. Here are the highlights. Twins had nine hits and the Cubs had 10. Leading hitters for the TWINS were Frank Owens 2-4 and Steve RYCHCIK 3-3 including a double. Craig Tynan also had a double. For the Cubs Chris Dunn 2-3 including a double.Dave Mitchell 2-2. Carlos ESPADA had a double and Bryce CUTLER also had a double. Winning pitcher was DUNN surrendering nine hits, walking six, and hitting one batter. JEFF WHITEHEAD started for the TWINS and absorbed the loss. Interesting side note which doesn't happen every day I guess. 1 player, ESPADA, was involved in all three runner interference calls during the game. Two of those calls went against the TWINS and one went against the Cubs. CUBS WIN 7-5.
