I stopped by Goldstock's yesterday, and their going out of business sale is going on now. I picked up two Marucci bats for a total of $ 200. That is 33% off. Also got a great deal on some batting gloves. Good time and place to gear up for the new year.
I went Tuesday and wasn't all that impressed with the prices for a "liquidation" sale. I saw fishing lures for $11.99 knocked down to $7.99 that I can buy anytime on the internet for $6.99!
I asked the guy at the cash register if prices would get knocked down as the week went on and when I told him I didn't need anything and was just looking for a bargain to good to pass up he told me to come back at the end.
On another note Marshall's has killer deals on spikes. I got a pair of last years Nike Mike Trout spikes for $6.

Marshall's has great prices, but their selection is very limited. You have to get lucky to find something in your size.
