Tickets for the 2019 CDMSBL banquet are on sale now! Unlike those on-line ticket services where you have to log in at 10:00 AM and know a secret code and select seats before some scalper buys them and then pay a hefty service fee for every ticket you buy - all you have to do is send in your check. And thanks to contributions from each division and a separate financial commitment from the board of directors the tickets for this event are very affordable.
Tickets purchased before March 15th are just $25.00 each. After March 15th the price jumps to $30.00 each. YOU MUST PURCHASE TICKETS BY APRIL 20TH.
In case you did not see my previous post - the banquet will be Saturday, April 27th from 6:00 - 10:00 PM. The banquet will be held at Martel's Restaurant on Consaul Road in Schenectady. This is the same venue where over 125 people attended the banquet in 2017. But, because the event is being held later in the spring, we will be using their patio enclosure for the evening. A larger space that is more conducive to mingling and music. We will also have lawn games and a wet t-shirt contest!
Jerry Solomon and Soul Provider will be the musical entertainment.
There will be an hour of appetizers, an Italian buffet and desserts. Your ticket also covers one keg of beer.
We will recognize the 2018 division champs, the Jim Jordan sportsmanship award winner and the incoming class of Hall of Fame inductees.
One more thing to consider. The 2019 season starts the day after the banquet. Bring your wife/girlfriend to the banquet and get on her good side before the season starts!

Pete - Yes. On Consaul Road. We had even considered offering a golf outing as part of the banquet but the weather and course conditions were too unpredictable.
The ticket purchases have already begun so we are off to a great start! Here is a little more incentive.
Whoever purchases the 50th and 100th tickets will receive ten free raffle tickets to the 50/50 raffle. My guess is that the 50th ticket will be sold by February 24th and the 100th ticket will be sold by early March.
