The CDMSBL Annual meeting was held last night and here is a recap of the event. League President John Reel gave his State of The League address and reviewed the Leagues finances. John also spoke of the new agreement with the MSBL as the previous agreement had expired. The advantages of aligning with the MSBL were discussed such as insurance costs and being able to participate in the national tournaments as many of our players in the league have done. John encouraged even more members to participate in these events and explained the methods for participating. John also discussed his goal for this year is to establish a "Golden Team" for each division which would allow new players interested in joining the CDMSBL an opportunity to begin play immediately in the league instead of having to wait for a team to add them or draft them. The final order of business was the election of Board of Directors members. Several candidates stood and expressed their interest in joining the BOD or remaining on the Board.
