First off I want to congratulate both teams in making it to the finals. Its a tough long season and to go to the finals again is an achievement in itself. The Giants are an incredible team, a lineup full of studs. Every hitter from top to bottom , all solid fielders, and amazing pitchers. The Bombers have their own studs as well. game 1 pitched Giants ace Dave Perry against, Bombers game 1 starter Dave Smitherman, and it lived up to its billing. Both pitchers were dealing. Holding both lineups baffled and seemed as if was going to be a low scoring affair. Giants put a run up on the board, and looked as if 1 would be enough. And till late in the game it was , thats when Bomber Veteran Rich Royka put his mark on game one with 2 run blazing double over the head of the right fielder giving the bomber the walk off victory 2-1. Game 2 giants put another lefty scott steltz on the hill against Bombers game 2 starter Lex Herrlett . Giants score first with a couple unearned runs and Bonbers found themselves in another scenario on being behind. Seemed as if we faced the top of the Giants lineup 50x being they went with a lean 9 man lineup as they did in game 1. Bombers again late in the game put the game tying run on base and the go ahead run when RICH ROYKA again laced a double to the gap to give Bombers the lead 5-4. Up to Lex Herrlett to seal the deal with the Giants top of the order in the bottom of the 7th. Lead off hitter fly ball for out 1. Another fly out for #2. Comes down to Giants skipper Joe demarco and Bomber skipper Lex Herrlett on the mound Joe lined a ball up the box took a crazy hop in front of the mound Herrlett leaped up and snagged the ball that would have went up the middle for a hit but threw to first for the last out. THE BOMBERS WIN THE BOOOOOOMMMMMBEERRS WIN. Congratulations to the Giants again an amazing team. Congratulations to the Bombers equally an amazing team. Deserving rich Royka named series MVP. Bomber achieved the championship trophy for the third year straight. A testament to the team aspect its team chemistry Its a year long grind and every player contributed to this championship.

Congratulations to Lex and the Bombers!! Two very potent offences were obviously kept at bay by some exceptional pitching.
To win three in a row in this highly competitive division is indeed a major accomplishment.!!
Of course winning 3 in a row triggers rule 16.B.84-C of the 45 division which states "any team that wins championships in three straight seasons must be immediately dissolved, and said players of that team must be distributed to the remaining teams,via draft."
Congrats Bombers, Perhaps you're hardest fought title. always someone to step up and get the job done. 24 games to be 2018 champs , no games greater than the last 2. Mr. Reuter , Mr. Herrlett you did fine job.
