I appreciate Lex only submitting a summary of today's games. The Bombers batters wore out the Shaskys outfielders hitting line drive after line drive in front of, between and over the Shaskys outfield of Hoeg, Callahan and Badalotto with an occasional fly ball that got lost in the high sun. Lex and Dave Smitherman (sp) limited the Shaskys offense (which scored 32 runs last weekend) to just two runs on the afternoon. Two pitchers who are very difficult to square up.
I won't mention the final scores either but it was reflective of a #8 versus a #1 seed. The Shaskys finish the season with our heads held high and wish good luck to the Bombers as they pursue another championship.
