I have seen it here before, but can't find it again.

Thanks.

Mike, on the 55 Home Page, on the right side under "Headlines" click on "2018 3rd Tier Tournament", it shows games for Aug 9th and 10th, that is all I have seen to date. It would be nice to know the playoff schedule (even though final seeding isn't complete) so that we can plan work and personal schedules around the playoff schedule.

I have the following dates for the final tier, but the pairings have not been determined till the last seed is finalized.

Friday Aug. 10 starts the final double-elimination phase.

Games then scheduled for 13th, 15th, 16th, 20th, 22nd and 23rd (if necessary).

All I know is that the Cubs are top seed and Giants are 2.

Don't hold me to this John but my understanding is 5 . with the 4 and the 5 seed playing a one game play in game and then best of 3 from there.

5 is right, but it is a double elimination tourney, not best of 3.

this is the championship double elimination tournament schedule.
Thur 8/9 5:45 PM Game 1: W-Game 11of Play in tournament at No. 4 NS
Fri 8/10 5:45 PM Game 2: No. 3 at No. 2 CP-C
Mon 8/13 5:45 PM Game 3: W-Game 1 at No. 1 NS
Mon 8/13 5:45 PM Game 4: L-Game 1 vs. L-Game 2 TBA
Wed 8/15 5:45 PM Game 5: W-Game 2 vs. W-Game 3 Watervliet
Thur 8/16 5:45 PM Game 6: W-Game 4 at L-Game 3 TBA
Mon 8/20 5:45 PM Game 7: W-Game 6 vs. L-Game 5 NS
Wed 8/22 5:45 PM Game 8: W-Game 5 vs. W-Game 7 Watervliet
Thur 8/23 5:45 PM Game 9: Repeat Game 8 if necessary TBA

this is subject to change due to weather and the completion of the Play in Double elimination tournament now being played. the seeding is not set until completion of that and the extra three games the top four are now playing. games by rule must be completed in full even when suspended by darkness or weather. A game reaches official status when the trailing team bats 5 times. if it does not the game is replayed from the beginning. the mercy rule applies. i will accept concession of a game by the trailing team once a game is official without having it be a forfeit. If a game is suspended the game will resume just prior to the next game in format that would be the destination of the team, that resumed game would start at 5:30 and the subsequent game immedialtely after . With rainouts I will endeavor to schedule them in the gaps in this format and in way to not effect the rest of the games. I am keenly aware of the daylight issue and encourage all teams to start on time, hustle in and out etc. No one wants to play resumed games and risk playing only 1-2 innings. Good luck to the remaining 7 teams.
