The Dodgers brought their offense to Central Park for a showdown against the Red Hot Peppers. The Dodgers pounded out twenty hits and used an eight-run third inning to seal the victory.
Jim Bradley had four hits including two doubles and (my 45+ Shaskys teammates) Tom Hoeg had three hits and Tony Grocki had two singles in his 55+ division debut. Rick Loffredo was very effective on the mound facing just twelve Peppers in three, scoreless innings. Mark Denicola pitched a scoreless seventh for the Dodgers.
The Dodgers have a tough schedule next week with games against the Whiz Kids and Cubs. We'll settle for a split!
