Game 1 with Shaskys was tied at 2 going into the 6th when Shaskys scored one in the top of the 6th to take a 3-2 lead. The Braves batted around in the bottom half, plating 7 runs to win it by a final score of 9-3. Mark Denicola went the distance for the win.
Game 2 against the Marlins was another good.The Braves scored 3 in the 2nd inning which held until the Marlins scored 2 in the 6th and then another in the 7th to tie it up. With two outs in the bottom of the 7th Steve Davis reached first on a hard shot up the middle that Ron Masseroni deflected with his bare hand toward short but too late to get the out at first. Davis stole 2nd and then "Irish" Dan Maguire lined a gapper to right giving the Braves the walk off win.
