50+ Albany Capitals 2017

Well guys, the 50+ Albany Capitals experienced our worst case scenario in this years 2017 Fall Classic. We were eliminated early in this years tournament and are now faced with 2 days of 84 degree temperatures, being on the beach or hanging by the pool/hot tub, counting the clouds go by. I am very proud of every players effort and can let our local CDMSBL know that they were represented with the highest respect. A few notables are the two pitching performances by Jimmy Tesoriero against Sacramento and Naperville , Timmy Burns with an on base percentage of 0.529, Pat Alston with single, double and triple in the last game leading the team in slugging percentage with 0.625, and our visitor Mark Sullivan ( from the Colorado MSBL) leading us with a batting avg of 0.437. We hope that our Jimmy Preller recoups quickly from an unfortunate accident in right field that sent him home early. Tonight we will be enjoying the cooking expertise of Johnny Weber as he prepares a surf and turf dinner for the team. And if anyone cares as I write this..... I havent seen a cloud in the sky yet today and unfortunately have to deal with the same weather tomorrow.

Thanks for the updates Mike.
Everyone here knew you guys had talent and we all know that talent alone doesn't always get it done.
Experience, luck and a few tweaks and you guys could go a long way.
Every tournament is a learning experience. Keep representing!

Ralph
