The good news is Scott Card is making a remarkable recovery. The bad news is he had a stroke. He is rehabilitating in Sunnyview Rehab Center in Schenectady. If his prognosis is in any way predicated on his character, Scott will make a full recovery. He has been one of the best and most enjoyable players in the CDMSBL. I have had the pleasure of being his team mate on a bunch of teams and in many leagues, most currently in the 55's here and going back to the Greco team in our original league. He has always been a difference maker on the field. His spirit and good will are effervescent. He has been challenged repeatedly with health issues and has come back every time. Good Lord! Say it ain't so. I was thrilled to hear Scott was back in uni this year. We had been teammates on the early Giants and he is one of the best - teammates and players.
