The 55 Giants defeated the Twins 7-0 at New Scotland field this evening. It was a 5 run first inning that would hold up for the Giants with many seeing eye hits dropping in to all fields. The last 6 innings was just 2-0 Giants, but the Twins could not plate a run although they hit the ball hard and deep a number of times. Both teams played excellent defense with only 3 errors in the entire game. The teams will meet again this Thursday at Satellite field with an excellent weather forecast for that evening----finally !!! Mike Ruslander led the Twins going 2 for 2 making it 8 hits in a row bringing his average up to a true .650.
