If you were not there last night you missed a great evening out. Don Ball and his committee did an excellent job of organizing the banquet, the food was excellent and the entertainment was enjoyable. During the night the new Hall of Famers were introduced and made their acceptance speeches, the Division winners from 2016 were recognized and some nice prizes and a 50/50 were raffled off. All this for $20. This was probably one of the best banquets in the past several years and turned out to be a great start to the 2017 baseball season. Again, good job Don Ball.
Herb Carter and his 18 Strings of Trouble were outstanding.
Also have to recognize Tim Brown, Jerry Solomon and Marc Tryon. Those three, with the addition of one of Herb's guitarists, played a 3- or 4-song set and were also outstanding, especially given the fact they rehearsed only one night before the banquet.
Great time had by all.
Nice work, DB, Bob Noto and all else who helped pull it off.
I would just like to thank everyone that came out to the banquet. We had over 120 people in attendance including over 20 players and guests from the 18+ division. It was very nice to see the youngest division well represented.
I would also like to thank Quentin Jensen of Frozen Ropes and Steve Lounello of RAKE Bats for their generous donations to our raffle prizes.
