The 45+ Cyclones suffered a rash of departures this off-season. This is a team which has steadily improved in the standings for a few years now and some of the older players have decided to move on and retire. Bear in mind, that this is a team that did not borrow a player for the entirety of the 2016 season and did not come in danger of forfeiting any games.
Left in the wake of these retirements are a good group of guys who are in need of a few more players to round out the roster. We have a solid group of nine right now but everyone knows you can't field a team with just nine players on your roster. We'd love to get to 15 so we can keep with our usual business practice of not borrowing players and not forfeiting games.
New player looking to get back into baseball after an extended layoff? That's good too! We're willing to exercise the patience needed to get you comfortable back on the baseball diamond.
Currently on a team and unhappy with your status at the end of a long bench 15 players deep? We have opportunities to improve that status and get you some more playing time.
We're hoping to avoid folding up camp as we all want to stick together and are ready, willing and able to take on a new set of players to help us continue improving in the standings.
