Board of Directors Meeting 1/4/17

Happy New Years everyone. The Board of Directors held their organizational meeting on January 4th at the office of Jon Corrigan in Menands, NY. This years BOD members are as follows: John Reel, Don Wixon, Jon Corrigan, John Kalinski, Don Ball, Jim Porter, Mark Marshall, Joe Slater, Tom Smith and Bob Noto.
The Officers were selected as follows:
John Reel, President, Don Wixon Treasurer, and Bob Noto, Secretary.
Two Committees were appointed beginning with the Finance Committee consisting of Mark Marshall, Chairman, Jim Porter, Jon Corrigan and Chad Heid.
Banquet Committee: Don Ball, Chairman, Joe Slater and Bob Noto
Don Ball reported on the season opening banquet preparations. Please save the date of March 25, 2017 at Martel's in Schenectady for this fun event. The estimated cost for this event will be approximately $20.00 per person and includes appetizers, dinner, one keg of beer and music. The music will be provided by Herb Carter's Band and the BOD asks any of our members with musical talents to appear throughout the night as guest performers. League champions will be recognized throughout the night also. Please make every effort to attend for a little camaraderie before the real battles start on the diamond.
Don Ball also reported that due to the success of the Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July and Fall Ball activities, he would like to build on these events. Stay tuned to the bulletin board for more information in the future.
It is my plan to recap all the BOD meetings on the bulletin board throughout the 2017 season. Submitted by Bob Noto, Secretary.
