On Friday the Indians took on the Padres and held off a tough team 7-3 behind 5 strong innings from rookie Mike Ruffinen and a 2 inning save from BJ Roberts . It was a good close game that was 4-3 after 6.
Last night at shuttleworth the Indians defeated the Dbacks 11-1 behind another gem from BJ Roberts who took a no hitter into the 6th and ended up with 1 hit and walk in his 6 innings and Leo Primeau pitched the 7th giving up the run. On Offense BJ helped his own cause with a HR and 2 walks , Will Horan a HR and Eric Joyce 3-3 with a walk. Fernando a double as well. The Dbacks are a strong team and we look forward to game 3 on the 28th.
