30 Yankees vs Warriors 17k performance

Yanks faced off against the Warriors for them on back to back nights, story of the game really was the pitching of Derek Himpsll, this would be Dereks first time pitching in a while and pitched a solid 6 innings. He had 1 broken bat infield roller hit that rolled past the mound and in-between 2nd for a hit that stopped his no hit bid, had 17 ks out of 18 put outs, 5 bbs 2 hits, actually a boring ass game for everyone in the field except for the catcher and 1st baseman who had ALOT of action on 3rd strike pitches that got away from the catcher, Chad and his team were classy, played with heart and were up for the challenge, good luck the rest of the way Chad

Yankees won 9-3

Thanks Lex, I'm just hoping some of these respectful performances will lead to W's for my boys.

Himpsl's performance is what you should expect from a guy throwing 88-91 in our league. Dude has a great arm. I expect big performances from him the rest of the way. Good recruiting Lex!

It also helps when you have a baseball-reference.com page. wink

Great find by Lex and it sounds like Derick will certainly be a force in this league - looks like the rest of us old guys need to step it up a notch . . . or four . . .
