Schenectady Baseball Umpires Organization (SBUO) is seeking candidates to umpire high school, summer, and fall ball for the 2016 season.
Experience has shown us that players and coaches make the best new candidates. For those still actively playing, Assignor Mark Fitch,
is very accommodating with your playing schedule, where you can work as much, or a little as your availability allows.

Our classes start in late January, and will prepare you for the State Exam, as well as rules knowledge and on field mechanics.
The outlay to get started is approximately $550, which includes Annual Dues, with insurance coverage, and Assignor's Fee, and
a start up set of equipment (chest protector, mask, shinguards, ball bag, brush and indicator), with Pants, hat and jersey.

The investment is easily earned back with your 1st 8-10 games.
