Congrats Giants!

A big congrats to the 45+ Giants team for their league championship victory. It hurts to lose in the finals to these guys every year, but at the same time you have to admire their talent and leadership. Steve Lou dominated on the mound in game 1 with a 1 hitter striking out 9 or 10 (I lost count). Folks - our line up is stacked. You give up 1 hit - that is a heck of a performance. Joe Burns battled his way through game 2. Never gave up and got stronger as the game went on. Clutch hitting by the entire line up and Hicksie making some incredible plays at SS.

Congrats Jimmy K/Steve and the boys! Well Deserved.

Thanx Rich.
Stevie is an incredible leader. After he posts, I will post details of the games.
You're right, Rich: Your team is stacked with hitting top to bottom. And we also have a never-give-up attitude - and it showed.
Thanx again.

I would also like to say to all the Giants, you guys sure are one class act on the field and off the field. Since I started playing 5 years ago I have been in the finals 4 out of the 5 years and done everything in my power to derail the mighty giants and we have come up short each time. I know to have a championship team year after year it takes a whole team effort and very little mistakes to win as you guys have done, it also helps to have someone like Stevie L. pitch the way he did [ WOW!!!]. Congrats to all my Giant friends, damn you guys are good.

Thnx Mike. Yeah, Stevie is that great equalizer when he takes the bump. Fortunately, he was healthy for a good part of the year - the part that counts. And Burnsie was lights out on the hill as well despite an injury to the inside of his pitching elbow. He has a lot of guts! The team as a whole is the best group of guys I could have ever hoped to be teammates with - on and off the field. Talented? Yes. But more importantly every one on our team is someone who will look back and appreciate that they were a part of each of our lives.

It's very humbling to be a part of something way bigger than the sum of its parts. But then again, it's also special to have been on the same field with the likes of you, Rich and the rest of the Bombers.

Thnx again, Mike.
