Game 1......Giants 13 Marlins 1........Lots of hits by the Giants - some hard hit, some bleeders. Joe Burns pitched well and Giants played good defense.
Game 2........Giants 33 Marlins 1.........Pitching and good defense again. Mark Dabney led the attack with a legitimate grand slam.
The Marlins,had a long week prior to this weekend. Hats off to a great group of ballplayers.
WOW! What a pounding. The score of the second game doesn't really reflect how close it was. I would say more like 28 or 29 to 1. Still proud of my Marlins team and couldn't be drubbed by a nicer bunch of Giants. What'll next year!
