Last night at Shuttleworth park the Indians punched their ticket to the finals for the second year in a row with a 12-0 win to sweep the Mets and now face the expansion Diamondbacks led by Hank Mora who swept past the Padres in their series. congrats to Hank and also Rob Carulo of the Padres and Mark Marshall of the Mets on fine seasons as well. last night was all taken care of by BJ Roberts with a complete game 1 hitter scattering 3 walks and a hit batter. He was helped by 2 double plays and the 1st was almost a triple play but the ball was dropped at 1st allowing the runner to get back. That was exciting to see even in our old man league. Jami Burnetter 2-3 with a walk . Eric Joyce 2-3 with a long HR and a walk and 3 runs scored. Q 1-2 and a walk and scored 3 times as well. A great team effort and we look forward to the next challenge.
