Beautiful night at Shuttleworth park and the Indians defeated the Yankees 9-0 behind 6 strong innings from Jami Burnetter scattering 7 hits and James Derby a scoreless 7th allowing a hit to Parella who had 3 on the day. Some good defense as well With a double play and a nice play at 1st by BJ Robert to protect the shut out with a nice toss to Derby covering. On Offense BJ had 2 hits Jami 2 hits including a long triple, Will Horan 3-3 and a walk and 3 RBI. Also Paul Giroux 2 hits and Leo Primeau 2 as well including a slide into 2nd where the base was 10 feet away. Lex has a tough squad and we expect a tough game 2 Wednesday at 830 at Shuttleworth.
