At C Diamond, the Blue Jays made 2 first inning runs hold up to beat the Chatham Brewers, 2-1.
For the Jays, John Weber scattered six hits for the complete game win. The Brewers' hurler, whose name I lack unfortunately, was equally as effective and both defenses were strong. This was a tight quick game on a warm and beautiful August morning. Mike Surin and Mike Aiello led the Jays offense with a pair of hits a piece.
At 8-6, the Blue Jays will try to earn a winning regular season with games against the Golden Marlins and Braves in the next two weeks.
