Thanks again to Dennis Lane we will have our second extended season game this Thursday at Watervliet High School. BP starts at 5:00, game time 5:45. Cost per player will be $5.00.
The extended season was primarily structured for members of the 55 division whose season has ended. The Thursday night games also provide an excellent opportunity for guys in the 45 division to get some practice in heading into their Sunday action. I have also heard from a few guys in the 33 division who are looking for some extra playing time. So this will be my organizational approach to this week's game.
I will give guys 45 and over until Tuesday at noon to contact me with their commitment to play. If I do not have 20 committed players by noon on Tuesday, I will invite members of the 33 division to join in. If we do not have 20 players by Wednesday at 5:00 PM, I will have to cancel the game for that week. I say this mainly because I don't feel it is fair to Dennis Lane to have him spend hours mowing and dragging the field and not have a full slate of players show up for the game.
But read the reviews. The field is in great shape. The weather is perfect for baseball. The sandlot format gives everyone a chance to play. What's not to love?

Anybody in the 55 or 45 league should really take the time and come over this Thursday to the Watervliet field. Great time and what a great field. We just need to get 20 solid guys out there. You won't be disappointed. Mike
