I have been asked by John Reel to get the wheels of fall baseball started early. So we will hold "pick up" baseball games on Saturday August 8th, 15th and 22nd at the Satellite field. Games will start early morning and we will confirm that start time soon. The idea is to hold a one hour batting practice prior to the start of the first game of the day. Although this is designed primarily for members of the 55 division whose season has come to a close, we are open to all league members. The games played in August will lead us into a more organized fall ball format starting in September. We have the option of scheduling additional games based on interest. We are also open to the idea of teams preparing for fall tournaments entering as a team.
The games played in August will be on a "pay-as-you-go" basis. The cost per game will be $7 per player. We plan to have umpires from the 55 division for these games.
