The 55 Americans got together with the 55 Cardinals at Gruner Field on Friday night for good pizza, a drink or two and good conversations hosted by Jerry Hawkins. A fine night for a get-together. Thanks Jerry.
Oh yeah - there was a game scheduled and played. Brett Conlin toughed out a 10-5 win on the mound for the Americans over the Cards who went with Earl Mitchell starting and All Freer in relief.
