I want to congratulate the Twins and their manager, Brian Allen, on their 10-2 victory over the Whiz Kids Tuesday night. The Twins, formerly the Hawks, haven't had too many "W's" over the years, but this team is different. Allen, in his first year as manager, has assembled a very competitive team. We all know how important pitching is, and Wayne Nicholson only allowed 2 hits in the win. The defense has been shored up, and they came through with some timely hitting. They played the Yankees tough in a 6-2 loss the week before, and the rest of the division will be taking notice of them soon. Congrats again, Twins, and keep up the good work.
