Braves pitcher Greg Witalec threw another gem against a potent Bombers line-up on Sunday, scattering only 5 hits and striking out 9 to get his second victory of the season. The Braves played outstanding defense and got all the offense they would need on RBI singles by Marc Trinchillo in the 3rd and Mark Denicola in the 6th, running their record to 2-0.

The Braves face off against Shaskys next week, followed by a rematch with the Bombers the following week.
