Gentlemen, Anyone find a bat in the "Red" dugout back in October? In getting my gear together for another year of this great game, I realized that the bat section of my gear bag is empty. The last time I had that stick out was in Albany for fall ball. I know that there are a bunch of good hits left in that thing because it hasn't touched many pitches and I'd like to have them for myself! Anyone drag a bat home that didn't look familiar? hey rob - just thought as i read your note: there's a maintenance shed at american legion field and that's where the guy who attends to the field keeps his tools and lost and found objects.
i didn't see the fellow in fall ball, but i'm pretty sure that the city - or whoever is in charge of the field - has a maintenance worker there from about march till november. so if you can find out who's running the field (john reel or don wixon will probably know), you might contact them and see if anybody knows about your bat.
