Lest we be forgotten, Artie Gianakos is also skippering a 45 Blue Jays squad at the Florida Fall Classic that will compete in the same week as the Cubs and the 56 team. This Blue Jays squad includes eleven CDMSBL players, most returning to Fall Classic action, including local Blue Jays Artie Gianakos, Mike Surin, Pat Alston, John Weber, Tim Borwick, Bob Hiller, and Curt Tucker; local Braves Dan McGuire and John Cortese; and local Shasky's Tim Burns and Jim Tesoriero. We've added four pool players, coming from Denver, PA, and FL, to round out the roster. Though we would only meet the Cubs in the playoffs, we do have a scheduled bout with Joe Careccia and Jim Bonaparte's DC Mustangs next Tuesday.
